Croq at the Library!

NYPL has been collecting zines for a number of years, and these homegrown periodicals powerfully document both popular culture and literary trends. In the world of the handmade, Croq is a zine worth close reading. As explained on its website, Croq's "focus is the DIY crafty community with a craftivism edge," and editor Heather Mann strives to provide an ambitious but welcoming mix of how-to articles, critical commentary, interviews, guidance, and book/zine reviews. I am very happy to announce that NYPL has a complete run of all of the issues so far (and that we will continue to purchase issues as they come out).
